Website terms of use
These terms apply to your use of the elvarsystems.co.uk website (the “site”). By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. Who we are
The site is operated by Elvar Systems Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17180679, with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA. You can contact us at contact@elvarsystems.co.uk.
2. These terms cover the website only
Elvar’s products, pilots and services are provided under separate written agreements. Nothing on the site is an offer to supply them, and these terms do not form part of any such agreement.
3. Information on the site
The site describes Elvar and our products in general terms. It is provided for information only and is not legal, regulatory or professional advice. Products and features change, and we may update or remove content at any time without notice. Nothing on the site is a statement that Elvar, or any firm using it, meets any law, regulation or standard. You should take your own advice before relying on anything here.
4. Using the site
You may use the site for lawful purposes. You must not:
- try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system;
- introduce viruses or other malicious or harmful material;
- interfere with or disrupt the site, including by excessive automated requests;
- use the site in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone’s rights.
Search engines and other automated readers are welcome to index the site in line with our robots.txt.
5. Intellectual property
The site and its content, including text, graphics, logos and code, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws. You may view, print and share pages for your own information, and quote short extracts with attribution and a link. Any other use needs our written permission. “Elvar”, “Elvar Mantle” and “Elvar Summit” are names we use for our products.
6. Links
The site links to other websites for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. You may link to our home page or any public page, provided you do so fairly and do not suggest an endorsement we have not given.
7. Availability
The site is provided free of charge and “as is”. It may at times be unavailable, interrupted or contain errors, and we may suspend or change it at any time.
8. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or reliance on its content, including loss of profit, business, revenue, data or goodwill, and any indirect or consequential loss.
9. Privacy and cookies
How we use personal data is set out in our privacy notice, and the site’s use of cookies (none) in our cookie notice.
10. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed; please check this page from time to time.
11. Law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute arising from them or the site, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
